The StepCrew is bringing their spectacular production to Pembroke’s Festival Hall on Tuesday, August 26th. Founded by Ottawa Valley step dancers Jon and Nathan Pilatzke and Irish dancer Cara Butler, The StepCrew ensemble has created a remarkable performance piece praised by critics and audiences alike. This show features nine of the best fiddlers, dancers and musicians on the Celtic music scene today. They will take you on a musical and geographical journey highlighting three different styles of percussive dance--our distinctive Ottawa Valley step dance, traditional Irish stepdance, and North American tap dance. From the moment this group bursts onto the stage with their energetic choreography, sparkling personalities, and exceptional musical talent, it is apparent why The StepCrew is an instant crowd-pleaser.
